An example would be wally's widgets pays the cable company to play their commercial several times over a period of weeks or months. Wally's widgets then contacts the particular stores who would likely carry their widgets and explains their advertising campaign and makes them aware that they can carry their product. Wally's widgets will t hen make sure their tv commercial says..."Wally's widgets are available at (naming the store here that they have asked to carry the product).
